If you do not have a confirmed diagnosis we are able to suggest referral to world-class Professors and Gastroenterologists working in the UK.
The London IBD clinic is a Nurse practitioner-led service meaning that you will not see a Doctor. Our expert nursing team have been handpicked for their experience and exceptional skill in all areas of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. As nurse consultants and Advanced nurse practitioners, all of our team are able to undertake a comprehensive health assessment, prescribe medications and arrange blood tests.
As Advanced nurse practitioners, our specialist nursing team have as least a Masters degree education and have a recognised nurse practitioner accreditation with the Royal College of Nursing. All our team have extensive experience in IBD including:
All of our team have expert knowledge and extensive experience of working in large Gastroenterology teams in the NHS and are Nationally and Internationally recognised for the work they do with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis.

Most people who visit our clinic are already under the care of a Gastroenterologist, either privately or in the NHS but in the event that you are not, we have an established referral network to world-class Professors and Gastroenterologists working in private practice. We also have a in-house medical doctor who is a specialist GP and can offer advice and consultations.
You can either obtain a referral via your GP, dietician or Gastroenterologist or you can self-refer. If you choose the self-referral option we will require a copy of your most recent clinic letter including your diagnosis and any recent investigations. Once an appointment has been made you will be sent a link to a secure patient portal where you can upload these details, along with any recent blood results. At the moment we only accept self-pay and do not accept insurance. Payment can be made on the day of consultation by cash and all major credit and debit cards.

If you are insured and would like to book an appointment you can pay for this as self pay and reclaim the money via your insurance company.
